Tube sheets are drilled using CNC / radial drilling machines. Carbide reamers are used for excellent tube hole finish. For every industrial heat exchangers, special mock ups are prepared to ascertain proper percentage of expansion. Tubes are expanded using electronic Torque Controller which ensure equal expansion in all the tubes.

Tube sheets are normally forged and material is low carbon steel, low alloy steel, low temp carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex steel, super duplex steel, titanium clad tube sheets, inconel, monel, brass, and cupronickel etc. Tubes used in these heat exchangers are of different geometries like plain, low finned, internally ribbed and finned, corrugated, helically coiled or with different types of tube inserts.
